BBC announces new Wallace and Gromit film, 'Vengeance Most Fowl'

Feathers McGraw returns to menace Wallace and Gromit in a brand-new adventure

The film is set to arrive this winter

BBC Chief Content Officer Charlotte Moore has announced that a new Wallace and Gromit film is in the works. The film, titled "Vengeance Most Fowl," will mark the return of the villainous penguin Feathers McGraw, who was last seen in 1993's BAFTA and Academy Award-winning short film "The Wrong Trousers."

"Vengeance Most Fowl" will be the second feature-length film featuring Wallace and Gromit, following 2005's "The Curse of the Were-Rabbit." It is also the first Wallace and Gromit film to be produced since the death of Peter Sallis, who voiced Wallace in all of the previous films.

The film's plot is still under wraps, but it is said to involve Feathers McGraw leaving prison and collecting his belongings, including his infamous red trousers. Wallace and Gromit will likely be tasked with stopping Feathers McGraw's latest evil scheme.

"Vengeance Most Fowl" is set to arrive in theaters this winter. No specific release date has been announced yet.
